INDEPENDENT MECHANICAL LOCKOUT

Each seal comes equipped with a separate locking mechanism to prevent inadvertent opening, as required by OH&S. This adds an additional layer of safety for the entire time isolation is needed. Failure of one mechanism does not affect the performance of the other.

STRESS-FREE OPERATION

The EnReach DIB line stop system has intrinsic design features that simplify installation, activation, and removal. The overall dimensions of the system have clearances to allow for smooth installation and removal. Nothing is forced in or out of the pipe. The line stop locates to ensuring minimal stress on the fitting and pipe. The seals sit perpendicular to the asset wall, ensuring the best isolation can be achieved without unwanted shifting or sliding

ADAPTIVE SEALS

Adaptive seals made from material that conform to variations in the pipe wall at the isolation location. The seals apply direct pressure over a wide region, which ensures the success of achieving isolation for even the toughest of jobs.

INDEPENDENT OF ASSET PRESSURE

The EnReach DIB line stop system achieves isolation whether the asset is pressurized or not. The seals do not rely on any external pressure to function. The seals are activated at the control panel and sealing force is predetermined.

Dual Independent Bi-Directional Seals

Two durable, high durometer, two-way seals are located within a single head and completely independent to allow for separate seal activation, control, and pressure testing. Wide seal profile ensures maximum sealing.

Pressure Test Port

Pressure testing can be performed between the two activated seals using an additional port directly on the line stop head. This eliminates the need for an external pressure test port to be installed on the pipe, as required by other line stop equipment on the market.

Isolated Bleed Zone

The region between the two activated seals can be relieved of pressure through a port directly on the line stop head. This provides verification that the activated seals have achieved double isolation and controlled venting of product through the line stop equipment. Once again, this eliminates the need for an external port to be installed on the pipe, as required by other line stop equipment on the market.

Zero Moment Design

Mechanical forces that result from plugging the asset are directed into load bearing locations that minimize bending effects on the line stop system. The design is fully anchored during isolation steps. This mitigates stresses on all components and ensures reliable insertion, service, and removal of the equipment. EnReach’s DIB system thus only requires standard fittings without specialized fittings or external intervention to manage stress during the line stop operation.

Independent Seal Activation

The two seals are controlled separately and located in distinct portions of the line stop head. Each seal is capable of achieving isolation on it’s own. Failure of one does not affect the performance of the other.
